Tracy Bressette is a First Nations artisan from Kettle & Stony Point First Nations. She considers Sarnia, Ontario to be her hometown since this is where she has grown up but now lives in London, ON. Before moving to London, she worked as an artist for approximately 7 years creating her own line of greeting cards and prints. In 2005, she moved to London because she wanted to enroll into school at Fanshawe College.
So in the winter of 2007, she enrolled into Fanshawe College 1 year General Arts and Science Program and after completing this program went on to enroll into a 2 year program called Multimedia Design & Production. There she studied Graphic Design, Photography, Web Design, 3D Animation, Video & Post Video Editing.
Since graduating school in the spring of 2010 she's been working on many types of arts and crafts as well as her website, Nativeexpress.ca which is a directory for North American First Nations Artisans. Tracy knows all to well how hard it is to market yourself out in the world so this is why she wanted to share what knowledge she had in web design with her fellow First Nations artisans.
Her knowledge in arts and crafts is quite wide, so in her portfolio you will see different types of things. She continue to add her art to the categories listed in the above menu. If there is an interest that you may have in anything posted here please feel free to contact her to see if the item is available for sale. Tracy does do freelance work in the areas of graphic design, logos and branding, as well a web and video editing so if there is anything that you need please feel free to contact her.
